Each year, VEHI honors 30 wellness "rockstars" from across the state and we are incredibly proud to celebrate Ms. Desautels for this accomplishment! The CMS PTO is a non-profit volunteer parent/staff partnership focused on supporting school-sponsored events and activities that encourage community collaboration for an enriching engaging education. The American Academy of Pediatrics Bright Futures recommends an annual well-child exam to address the physical, social, and emotional needs of a student. Doing so promotes attendance, enhances the student's ability to fully access and enjoy the educational experience and promotes better academic outcomes.
The CMS Kitchen Staff has a full sandwich menu at the sandwich bar. This is offered during all of our three lunch periods. There are speedy pickup forms for students and staff to preorder a sandwich. These forms can be found in the main office, in the cafeteria, and on the breakfast cart. Please return them to either the cafeteria or breakfast cart by 9:50 am on the same day that you would like your sandwich order. The breakfast cart can be found in the 6th grade wing Monday-Thursday 8:40-8:50 am and Fridays 8:20- 8:30 am. The cart is also on the 2nd floor by the elevator Monday -Thursday 9:30-9:40, Fridays 9:00-9:10 am.
The 8th grade dance will be held Thursday June 14th from 6:30-9:00pm. Tickets will go on sale at the CMS office starting Monday 6/11. Tickets will NOT be sold at the dance. The cost is $10. This price includes all food and drink.
8th grade recognition will be Monday June 18 from 6-7pm in the high school gym. 8th graders should be at the high school by 5:30. Students will go the the CHS Performing Arts Center, parents will go to the gym.
The last day of school is June 19. Dismissal will be at noon. This day is optional for 8th graders.

June 6: Spring Choral Concert @ CHS Performing Arts Center 7:00pm.
